REAL-TIME MARKET INSIGHTS IN A GLOBAL, COMPLEX AND DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT

Pentair assesses and produces solutions to some of the world’s most difficult sustainability challenges. More than 75% of its products, services and technologies has to do with food, water or energy. As a global organisation, Pentair is active in various sectors (e.g. energy, industry, housing, food and commerce) with various solutions. The challenge the organisation faces lies in determining which units deserve their own marketing communication strategy and which units would have a bigger impact when combined with others.

Trendata mapped the online market demand for each of Pentair’s units. This resulted in insight into the structure of this market demand, but also revealed who meets existing demand and where. Among other things, we identified which competitors focus on which type of demand and which products and services are in highest demand online. The real-time results are then translated into e.g. a data-driven online strategy that reveals exactly which units already have a strong market position and which units should be combined with others to maximise their effect.
